Description : The Pea Blue is a small sized butterfly. In males, the upperside of the wings is blue with brown edges. Females have small amount of blue colour in the center of the wing.Both sexes possess a thin, long tail on the hindwings. The butterfly features bright fulvous upper wings with a black band on the forewing's outer margin and a narrow pale ochreous-brown band on the hindwing's outer margin. The underside displays dark ochreous-yellow color with pale blackish markings. Ring-spots adorn both wings, accompanied by discal bands and sub-marginal lunules. Black antennae with white dots and an orange-tipped club, while the female is paler but shares similar markings.
