Description : Pangusia labeo is an elongated bodied fish with 1 pairs of barbels.Lips are thick while snout is projecting beyond mouth and is filled with pores.Body color depends on its habitat.In rivers,it is brownish above and yellowish and white on sides and below while in hill streams,it is dark or blackish above and yellowish below.Scales can be dotted.Dorsal and caudal fins are grey while pectoral and anal are transparent,often stained with red.Caudal fin is forked.
