Description : Gotyla is an elongated bodied fish with a suctorial disc.This species has a prolonged snout while its upper lip is fringed and ciliated.Body shows dark brown dorsally and light pink ventrally.Upper edge of operculum possess a dusky spot and several such spots on the base of dorsal fin.Two pairs of barbels are present around the mouth.
