Description : Putitor mahseer is a large fish with 2 pairs of barbels.Upper jaw is slightly longer and lips are thick and fleshy.Body is greenish-silvery above and sides silvery with a touch of gold.Scales are golden with dark base formed by minute black dots.Fins are yellow.
