Description : Bata labeo is an elongated bodied fish with slightly fringed lower lip.Body is golden-yellow above but silvery below.An irregular black blotch on the anterior part of lateral line and a faint blotch on the posterior part of the body are present.Pelvic and anal fins have orange red tips while others have black dots.
