Description : পাতি লাল পা কমলা লাল রঙের পা বিশিষ্ট ধূসর রঙের পাখি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ২৮ সেমি. ওজন ১২০ গ্রাম, ডানা ১৬ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) অপ্রজনন মৌসুমে এদের দেহের উপরের দিক বাদামি ধূসর এবং নিচের দিক সাদা রঙের হয়। এরা কীটপতঙ্গ ও পোকামাকড়, শামুক, ছোট মাছ ইত্যাদি খেয়ে থাকে। স্যাঁতসেঁতে তৃণভূমি থেকে লবণাক্ত ঝোপ ঝাড় পর্যন্ত যে কোনো জলাভূমিতে এরা বাসা বাঁধে। এরা ৩-৫টি ডিম পাড়ে।
