Description : ছোট চাহা ছোট ধূসর উপকূলীয় অঞ্চলের পাখি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ১৪ সেমি. ওজন ২০ গ্রাম, ডানা ১০ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে)পাখিটির মুখ গ্রীষ্মের সময় লালচে-বাদামি রঙের হয়, শীতকালে দেহের উপরের অংশ ধূসর-বাদামি আর নিচের দিকে সাদা রঙের হয়। এদের সুপারসিলিয়াম (চোখের ভ্রু) সাদা হয়, বুকের পার্শ্বদেশে ধূসর অংশ থাকে। এরা প্রধানত ক্ষুদ্র অমেরুদণ্ডী প্রাণী খেয়ে থাকে।
