Description : জাক চেগা ছোট জলাভূমির পাখি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ১৮ সেমি. ওজন ৪৫ গ্রাম, ডানা ১১ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) এদের দেহের উপরের দিক বাদামি সবুজ আর নিচের দিক সাদা। এরা পোকামাকড়ের লার্ভা, ছোট শামুক, গাছের বীজ খেয়ে থাকে। তারা তাদের বাসা বাঁধার স্থান হিসাবে মাটিতে একটি গোপন স্থান বেছে নেয়। সেখানে তারা ৩/৪টি ডিম পাড়ে।
