Description : তিলা লালপা ফিকে ধূসর রঙের পাখি তবে প্রজনন মৌসুমে দেহের রঙ কালচে দেখায়।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৩০ সেমি. ওজন ১৫০ গ্রাম, ডানা ১৭ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) অপ্রজনন মৌসুমে এদের দেহের উপরের দিক হাল্কা ধূসর সাথে হাল্কা এবং নিচের দিক সাদা রঙের হয়। এদের সরু সাদা সুপারসিলিয়াম (চোখের ভ্রু)থাকে। পাখিটির ঠোঁট লম্বা ও কালচে বাদামি তবে প্রান্ত লাল রঙের। এরা শামুক, পোকামাকড়, জলজ কীটপতঙ্গ খেয়ে থাকে।
