Description : নাটা গুলিন্দা/ছোট গুলিন্দা বালুবাদামি রঙের জলজ পাখি। মাঝারি সাইজের ঠোঁট নিচের দিকে বাঁকানো থাকে(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৪২.৫সেমি, ওজন ৩৩০ গ্রাম, ডানা ২৫.৫সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে)স্ত্রী পাখি পুরুষ পাখির চেয়ে সামান্য বড় হয়।এদের দেহের উপরের দিক বাদামি রঙের, নিচের দিক সাদা রঙের হয়। এরা সামুদ্রিক অমেরুদণ্ডী প্রাণী খায়। তিন থেকে পাঁচটি ডিম পাড়ে। প্রাপ্তবয়স্করা বাসা বাঁধার ক্ষেত্রে খুব রক্ষণাত্মক এবং এমনকি খুব কাছাকাছি আসা মানুষকেও আক্রমণ করে।
