Daudin’s Sea Snake Did you see this animal?

Scientific Name : Hydrophis nigrocinctus
Family : Elapidae
Order : Squamata
Class : Reptilia
Phylum : Chordata
Habitat : Marine

Description : Daudin's sea snake has a relatively slender body with a short, paddle-shaped tail. Its head is distinct from the body, and it has a small, pointed snout. The snake's coloration can vary from greyish-blue to brown, with lighter undersides.
Adult Daudin's sea snakes can reach up to 80 cm (31 inches) in length, with males being slightly smaller than females. Like all sea snakes, Daudin's sea snake is venomous. Its venom is primarily neurotoxic, which means that it affects the nervous system. However, it is not considered to be dangerous to humans, as it is only able to inject a small amount of venom due to its small fangs. Daudin's sea snake is a highly aquatic species, rarely coming to shore. It is a strong swimmer and is often found in shallow waters, including coral reefs and mangroves.
This species feeds primarily on fish, which it catches using its venomous bite.
Daudin's sea snakes are oviparous, meaning that they lay eggs. Females typically lay 2-4 eggs at a time, which hatch after around 60 days. Daudin's sea snake is listed as a species of "Least Concern" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). However, like many sea snake species, it is threatened by habitat loss and degradation, as well as accidental capture in fishing nets.
