Description : The upper side of the butterfly is white with a slight dusting of tiny black scales at the base of the wings. The forewing has faint black speckles along the costa and a large somewhat pear-shaped black spot post-discal. Hindwing is uniformly white with a thin, faint black terminal line. Underside is white with greenish slender transverse lines and dots on costal margin, apex, and hindwing. The hindwing's markings tend to form faint bands. Antennae are dark brown with white spots, head slightly brownish, and thorax/abdomen white. Female similar, with slightly broader black markings. Wingspan ranges from 25 to 53 mm. Found in Himalayas, India, Sri Lanka, Assam, Burma, Tenasserim, China, and Malayan region.
