Description : Wet Form (Male): Pale yellow upper-side with slight grey-black scales at the base. Forewing bears a broad black outer marginal band curving from middle of costa to upper median, then sinuating to lower median, with a deeply excavated posterior end. Hindwing features a distinct black complete band and a salmon-colored patch between costal and sub-costal veins. Underside is paler yellow with faint marginal dots and small upper discocellular streaks on both wings, along with a dot above the cell and discal transverse streaks on hind-wing. Forewing has a sub-basal oval patch of compact salmon-colored scales.
Wet Form (Female): Lighter yellow upper-side. Outer band on forewing is somewhat broader. Hindwing band is broader anteriorly and complete, lacking a costal patch. Underside resembles male, without the sub-basal patch.
Dry Form (Male): Upper-side is similar to wet form, with a more deeply excavated posterior end of the outer marginal band. Underside shows clearer ordinary markings.
Dry Form (Female): Upper-side displays a fading posterior end of the forewing's outer band. Hindwing band is narrower and might be broken towards the posterior. Underside markings resemble those of the male.
