Description : জিরিয়া হাঁসের মাথায় কাছে সাদা সুপারসিলিয়াম থাকে।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৩৯ সেমি. ওজন প্রায় ৩৫০ গ্রাম ও ডানা প্রায় ১৮.৫ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) পুরুষ পাখির সুপারসিলিয়াম স্পষ্ট কিন্তু স্ত্রী পাখির ক্ষেত্রে তা স্পষ্ট নয়। শীতকালে জলাভূমিতে এদের বেশি দেখা যায়।
