Description : লালঝুঁটি ভূতিহাঁস উজ্জ্বল লাল রঙের ঠোঁট যুক্ত মাঝারি আকারের হাঁস।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৫৪ সেমি. ওজন প্রায় ৯৮০ গ্রাম, ডানা প্রায় ৬ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) এর চোখের আইরিশ লাল, কালো বর্ডারের কমলা-হলুদ পা আছে। এর বুকের দিকের রঙ কালো।
