Description : মরচেরঙ ভুতিহাঁস বাদামি রঙের হাঁস (পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৪১ সেমি. ওজন প্রায় ৬০০ গ্রাম ও ডানা প্রায় ১৮.৫ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) এদের মাথা ও বুকে কাঠ বাদামের রঙের ন্যায়। এরা জলজ উদ্ভিদ, বীজ জলজ পোকা, লার্ভা, শামুক, ব্যাঙ, মাছ খেয়ে থাকে।
