Description : ফুলুরি হাঁস মাঝারি আকারের গাঢ় বর্ণের ঠোঁট যুক্ত হাঁস।প্রজনন মৌসুমে পুরুষ পাখির মাথা কৃষ্ণ সবুজ, ঠোঁট ও পা কাল রঙের হয়ে থাকে।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৫১ সেমি. ওজন প্রায় ৬৫০ গ্রাম ও ডানা প্রায় ২৩.৫ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) এরা জলজ উদ্ভিদ, প্ল্যাঙ্কটন খেয়ে থাকে।
