Description : উত্তরে খুন্তেহাঁস লম্বা শরীরের হাঁস যার ঠোঁট বড় চামচের মত।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৪৮ সেমি. ওজন প্রায় ৬৪০ গ্রাম ও ডানা প্রায় ২৩.৯ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) এরা জলজ উদ্ভিদ, বীজ জলজ পোকা, লার্ভা, শামুক, মাছ খেয়ে থাকে।
