Description : পাতি সোনাচোখ, মাঝারি আকারের হাঁস জাতীয় পাখি। (পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৪৬ সেমি. ওজন প্রায় ৮৬০ গ্রাম, ডানা প্রায় ২১ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) পাখিটির ঠোঁট কালো, চোখের আইরিশ সোনালি-হলুদ বর্ণের। প্রজনন মৌসুমে স্ত্রী পাখিটি ৬-১৫ টা দিম পেড়ে থাকে।
