Description : Longtail Catfish have an elongated body with depressed anterior and compressed posterior.They appear as reddish brown in color having 2 pale brown bands on the above.Much depressed head is present with terminal mouth having 4 pairs of barbels.Dorsal fin without spine and caudal unevenly forked where upper lobe much larger than the lower.
