Description : The upper side of the male is blue, while the female is sligthly more brown. A large black patch is present on the forewing of males .Females present a dark spot on the edge of the hindwing underside.Markings include a double bar at the end-cell, a regular discal line on the forewing, and a broken, less regular line on the hindwing.
The male butterfly appears pale blue to dark brown above, with a shining dark purple hue in certain lights. It has a black border, and the upper forewing features a large black discal area of modified scales.
In contrast, the female butterfly is dark brown, and its hindwing exhibits a disconnected white discal band above the tornus. Additionally, the female has a black tornal spot in 2, which is edged with white . Both sexes have small double tails.
