Description : Wings black or red-brown. Upperside of the forewings have a small white spot on the middle and multiple white spots close to the posterior margin. Hindwing is paler and in the female has big white spots and smaller crescent-like spots close to the margin. Underside mostly brown-black with the forewing having one small white spot and the hindwing having at least 3 medium-sized white spots and other smaller white spots.
