Description : কালাঘাড় পানচিল সাদা রঙের জলচর পাখি। পাখিটির ঠোঁট কালো তবে ঠোঁটের শীর্ষদেশ হলুদ রঙের হয়।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৩৫ সেমি, ডানা ২২.৩ সেমি পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) পাখিটির দেহের উপরের দিক সাদা তবে মুখের দিকে কালো মুখোশের ন্যায় অংশ ও ব্যান্ড বিদ্যমান। চোখের আইরিশ বাদামী আর পা কালো রঙের হয়।
