Description : বড় নট মাঝারি আকারের ধূসর উপকূলীয় অঞ্চলের পাখি যা গ্রীষ্মকালে গাঢ় রঙের হয়।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ২৭ সেমি. ওজন ১৩৫ গ্রাম, ডানা ১৭.৫ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) প্রজননকাল ছাড়া এদের দেহের উপরের অংশ ধূসর আর নিচের দিকে সাদা রঙের হয়। এদের সুপারসিলিয়াম (চোখের ভ্রু) সাদা হয়। এরা পোকামাকড়, শামুক আর সামুদ্রিক প্রাণী খেয়ে থাকে।
