Description : লালচে মুনিয়া বা কালো মাথা মুনিয়া একটি ছোট পরিযায়ী পাখি।এরা লম্বায় প্রায় ১১-১২ সেমি।প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক পাখির চকচকে ফ্যাকাশে ধূসর-নীল ঠোট,কালো মাথা ও বাদামি দেহ রয়েছে। পিঠের নিচের দিকে একটি ইটের মতো লাল পট্টি রয়েছে যা উড্ডয়নের সময় দৃশ্যমান হয়।এদের কিছু প্রকরনের কালো পেট দেখা যায়। উভয় লিঙ্গের পাখি একই রকম দেখতে বাচ্চা পাখির অভিন্ন ফ্যাকাশে বাদামি পিঠ,কালো রঙ ছাড়া মাথা এবং সাদা থেকে ফ্যাকাশে হলুদাভ বাদামি পেট।এরা মূলত বীজ ও শস্য খেয়ে থাকে।
