Description : মেটে খঞ্জন একটি ছোট ,লম্বা লেজ ও হলুদ পায়ু যুক্ত ধূসর রঙের পাখি।এটা লম্বায় প্রায় ১৭ সেমি,ওজনে ১৬.৩ গ্রাম,পাখা ৮.২ সেমি, ঠোঁট ১.৬ সেমি, টারসাস ২ সেমি, লেজ ৯ সেমি।প্রজনন কালে পুরুষ পাখির পিঠ ধূসর,সাদা সীমান্ত ও শেষভাগ যুক্ত কালচে বাদামি পাখা,হলুদ কোমড়,সাদা পাড়যুক্ত কালচে বাদামি লেজ।এর সাদা ভ্রু,চোখের চারপাশে চিবুকের নিচে সূক্ষ্ম ,কানের দুইপাশ ধূসর ও কালো গলা।বাকি পেটের অংশ উজ্জল হলুদ। প্রজনন কাল ছাড়া পুরুষ,স্ত্রী পাখি সাদা গলা,ফোলা পালকযুক্ত সাদা পেট ,হলুদ বুক ও পায়ু ছাড়া সবকিছু প্রজনন কালের পাখির মত দেখতে।এরা পোকা-মাকড় ও ছোট শামুক খেয়ে থাকে।এরা এপ্রিল-জুলাই মাসে প্রজনন করে।
