Description : সাইট্রিন খঞ্জন একটি মসৃণ, সবুজাভ হলুদ পাখি যার লেজ লম্বা।এটা লম্বায় প্রায় ১৭ সেমি,ওজনে ১৮গ্রাম,পাখা ৮.২ সেমি,ঠোট ২সেমি,টারসাস ২.৭ সেমি,লেজ ৭.৫ সেমি। প্রজনন কালে পুরুষ পাখির সম্পূর্ণ মাথা হলুদ,পিঠ,গ্রীবা,কোমড়,পাখার ওপরের আবরন ধূসর বা কালো,পাখার পাড়ের দিকে এবং প্রশস্ত অংশে সাদা পালক ও লেজের শেষ প্রান্তে সাদা পালক সহ গাঢ় বাদামি লেজ দেখা যায়।পেট লেবুর মতো হলুদ দেখায়। প্রজনন কাল ছাড়া প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক স্ত্রী ও পুরুষ পাখি ঝুটি,কানেরদুইপাশ,গ্রীবা,পাখার ওপরের অংশ ধূসর রঙের,পাখার ওপর সাদা দাগ,প্রশস্ত হলুদ ভ্রু যা কানের দুইপাশ পর্যন্ত আবৃত এবং ফ্যাকাশে হলুদ পেট দেখা যায়। এরা পোকা ও তাদের লার্ভা , ছোট শামুক ইত্যাদি খায়।এরা মে-আগস্ট মাসে প্রজনন করে। মাটির কাছাকাছি ঘাসের গুচ্ছের গোড়ায়,পাথরেরনিচে বাসা করে।
