Description : ইউরেশীয় গৃধিনী বড় আকারের শকুন।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ১১৫ সেমি, ওজন ৭ কেজি, ডানা ৭০ সেমি পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) পাখিটির দেহের পালক লালচে-বাদামি ফলে অন্যান্য শকুনদের তুলনায় এদের আলাদা করে চেনা যায়। পাখিটির দেহের উপরের দিক লালচে তবে নিচের দিক লালচে বাদামি। এরা মৃত পশুর মাংস ও পশুর বড় হাড় খাদ্য হিসাবে খায়। এ শকুনের জীবনকাল ৪১ বছর।
