Description : সরুঠুঁটি শকুন বাংলাদেশের অন্যান্য শকুনের তুলনায় ওজনে বেশ ভারি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৯২ সেমি, ওজন ৬ কেজি, ডানা ৬০ সেমি পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) এদের দেহের পালক ফিকে বাদামি তবে পেটের দিকের রঙ কিছুটা হাল্কা। এদের পায়ের দিকের পালক সাদা, গলার দিকের পালকও সাদা। এদের মাথা পালক বিহীন ও ধূসর রঙের। এদের প্রজননকাল নভেম্বর থেকে মার্চ মাস পর্যন্ত।
