Description : শঙ্খ চিল সাদা মাথা,স্তন এবং এক বৃত্তাকার লেজযুক্ত একটি উজ্জ্বল বাদামী বুকের পাখি।এটি সম্পূর্ণরূপে একটি সাদা মাথা,স্তন এবং গোলাকার লেজযুক্ত সমৃদ্ধ পাখি।এটির একটি নীল রঙের চঞ্চু, বাদামী আইরিস এবং ফ্যাঁকাসে হলুদ পা রয়েছে। এদের চেহারা একরকম হয় এবং কিশোররা পুরোপুরি বাদামী রঙের হয়ে থাকে। তাদের প্রধানত উপকূলে এবং অভ্যন্তরীণ জলাভূমিতে পাওয়া যায়। সেখানে তারা মৃত মাছ এবং অন্যান্য শিকার খেতে পারে। প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের একটি লালচে-বাদামী দেহের পালক থাকে যা তাদের সাদা মাথা এবং স্তনের সাথে বৈপরীত্য করে। এটি তাদের অন্যান্য শিকারী পাখিদের থেকে আলাদা করা সহজ করে তোলে।
