Description : কাটুয়া চিল/ কাপাসি/ সাদা চিল ছোট আকারের হাল্কা ধূসর রঙের শিকারি পাখি। পাখিটির ডানায় কালো রঙের ছোপ বিদ্যমান আর ডানার শীর্ষদেশ সুচালো।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৩৩ সেমি, ওজন ১৬৪ গ্রাম, ডানা ২৭ সেমি পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) দেহের উপরের দিক ধূসর রঙের, দেহের নীচের দিকের পালকগুলো সাদা রঙের হয়। এরা অভিযোজনযোগ্য পাখি যা ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে থাকা গাছ সহ খোলা তৃণভূমি বা উপত্যকায় পাওয়া যায়। তারা তৃণভূমি, ফসল এবং শহুরে এলাকা সহ বিভিন্ন আবাসস্থলে থাকে। তারা ঘন স্থান এড়িয়ে যায় এবং তাদের সংখ্যা পরিবর্তিত পরিবেশগত অবস্থার সাথে ওঠানামা করতে পারে।
