Description : ভোল মাছের শরীর লম্বাটে ধরনের। এর একটি চোখা তুণ্ড আছে। এদের রূপালী শরীরে দুই-ছয় সারি নীলচে দাগ দেখা যায়। এদের মাথাতেও কিছু চিহ্ন দেখা যায়। এদের পৃষ্ঠ পাখনা বাদে আর সব কমলা বর্ণের হয়। এদের পুচ্ছ পাখনা তীক্ষ্ণ হয় আর এর নিচের খন্ড উপরের থেকে লম্বা হয়।
