Description : চেলা একটি ছোট মাছ যার মুখ উপর দিকে উদ্দিষ্ট।এদের বড় চোখ থাকে।শরীর রূপালী আর একটি উজ্জ্বল পার্শ্বীয় চওড়া রেখা দেখা যায়।পুচ্ছ পাখনা তীক্ষ্ণ হয় আর এর নিচের খন্ড উপরের থেকে লম্বা হয়ে থাকে।
