Description : The Lesser Agama is a medium-sized lizard, with males growing up to around 12 inches (30 cm) in length and females slightly smaller.

The males have bright and vivid colors on their body, including shades of blue, green, orange, and red. Females and juveniles have more muted colors, typically brown or gray.

Lesser Agamas are found in a variety of habitats, including savannas, grasslands, and rocky areas.

They are primarily insectivores, feeding on a variety of insects, spiders, and other small invertebrates. They also occasionally consume small vertebrates, such as lizards and rodents.

Lesser Agamas are diurnal (active during the day) and are known for their ability to run quickly and climb well. They are also social animals, often seen in groups basking in the sun or foraging for food.

Females lay clutches of around 4-10 eggs in burrows or under rocks, which hatch after around 60 days.

The Lesser Agama is not considered to be threatened or endangered, and is often kept as a pet due to their bright colors and active behavior.
