They have a round head, small ears, and big, round eyes. They have a thick fur coat that is usually gray or brown, and they have a distinctive stripe running down their back.

Slow lorises have several adaptations that help them survive in their environment. They have a toxic bite that can cause swelling and pain to predators, and they also have a gland on their elbow that produces a strong-smelling scent.

Slow lorises are omnivores and primarily eat insects, but they also consume fruits, tree gum, and nectar.

They are solitary animals that are primarily active at night. They are slow-moving and spend most of their time in trees.

Slow lorises are listed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List due to habitat loss and poaching for the illegal pet trade.
