Description : Garua Bacha species got an elongated and compressed body.Moderate and sub-terminal mouth bears 4 pairs of barbels.Their color appear as silvery with yellowish-green back. This species is frequently encountered in freshwater habitats, occupying the bottom layer of water bodies. Breeding occurs from March to August when they gather in shoals and spawn in shallow waters. The spawning temperature ranges from 15.6°C to 20°C.
