Description : Body of Estuarine Ricefish is compressed.Body dull green above and white beneath.Mouth oblique.Head depressed.Upper jaw slightly smaller.Large cycloid scales.Caudal fin rounded. A thin dark line present towards the middle of the flanks.Teeth present in a single row in both jaws.
