Description : Slender,slightly compressed body is observed in Ectuntio Halfbeak species where it is tapering at both ends.Body color shows dull greenish brown with a narrow,indistinct lateral band.Lower jaw is 3 times longer than that of the upper jaw.Dorsal fin commences slightly anterior to the anal fin having a rounded caudal fin.
