Description : এ জাতীয় পাখি একটি একটি খাড়া ঝুটির মত এবং একটি দীর্ঘ ঘাড় রয়েছে।এদের রঙ সোনালি-হলুদ থেকে গাড় বাদামী হয় ডানাগুলির সাথে রং আলাদা হয়।লেজটির নীচের অংশগুলিকে সাদা বর্ণের দেখায় যার সাথে কালো দাগযুক্ত থাকে। সোজা চঞ্চুটি বেশিরভাগ হয়। এদের হলুদ আইরিস হয়। মাথা এবং পা সীসা-ধূসর বর্ণের হয়ে থাকে। প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক পুরুষের সবসময় একটি লাল ঝুঁটি থাকে তবে স্ত্রীদের মধ্যে এর রঙ ভিন্ন থাকে।
