Description : তামাটে কাঠকুড়ালি পাখিদের পুরুষদের ঘাড়ে একটি লালচে দাগ রয়েছে । স্ত্রী পাখিরা পুরুষের চেয়ে কিছুটা ছোট হয়ে থাকে।এদের প্রাপ্তবয়স্কটি উপরের থেকে হালকা এবং বুকের দিকে থেকে গাড় বাদামী দেখায়। পুরুষ ও স্ত্রী উভয় পাখিরই চঞ্চু, হালকা লালচে আইরিস এবং বাদামী পা রয়েছে। অপ্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের ঘাড়ের পাশে আরও ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে থাকা লাল রঙ রয়েছে।
