Description : বাংলা কাঠঠোকরা উপরের থেকে দেখতে সোনালি-হলুদ এবং বুকের দিকে হালকা কালো দেখায়। এদের কালো লেজ, লালচে-বাদামী আইরিস, কালচে চঞ্চু এবং ধূসর-সবুজ পা রয়েছে। পুরুষদের একটি লাল রঙের ঝুঁটি রয়েছে তবে স্ত্রীদের সামনের ঝুঁটি কালো হয়ে থাকে।কিশোররা প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের থেকে হালকা রঙ এর হয়।
