Description : বাইলা প্রজাতির মাছের শরীর হয় লম্বাটে। এর পূর্ব অংশ সিলিন্ড্রিকাল এবং পশ্চাৎভাগ সংকুচিত হয়ে থাকে। এদের পার্শ্বদেশে হলুদাভ বাদামী বর্ণের সাথে পাঁচটি বড় দাগ দেখা যায়। এদের মাথা সরু এবং চাপানো থাকে। দেহের পাশে সরু পৃষ্ঠীয় পাখনা একসাথে পাশাপাশি অবস্থান করে এবং পুচ্ছ পাখনা কিছুটা গোলাকার হয়ে থাকে। এই প্রজাতি ১০ সেমি (৪ ইঞ্চি) দৈর্ঘ্যে পৌঁছায়। এদের প্রজনন গ্রীষ্মকালে হয়।
