Description : কালো ময়ূর গাঢ় রঙের পাখি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৬২ সেমি. ওজন প্রায় ১.৩ কেজি, ডানা প্রায় ২২ সেমি.)ছেলে পাখির পিঠ কিছুটা চকচকে নীলচে-কালো। মুখের, চোখের আশেপাশের কিছু অংশ লাল। এদের মাথায় কাল ঝুঁটি থাকে।
