Description : ধলাপাখা পানচিল ছোট আকারের জলচর পাখি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ২৩ সেমি, ডানা ২১ সেমি পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) পাখিটির মাথা সাদা, গ্রীষ্মকালে দেহের নিচের দিক কালচে রঙের হয়। প্রজনন মৌসুমে মাথা, গলা, বুক কালো রঙ ধারণ করে। এরা ছোট মাছ, ঘাসফড়িং, পানির মথ, কাঁকড়া খেয়ে থাকে।
