Description : মালয়ি নিশিবক/ বাঘা বক জলচর খানিকটা ঝুঁটিযুক্ত পাখি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৫১সেমি., ডানা ২৭ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) দেহের উপরের দিক বাদামি আর কালো ডোরাযুক্ত।পাখিটির চোখের আইরিশের রঙ সোনালি হলুদ, চোখের চারপাশের ত্বক সবুজ-ধূসর, ঠোঁটের রঙ হলুদ। এরা মাছ, ব্যাঙ, অমেরুদণ্ডী প্রাণী খেয়ে থাকে।
