Description : বড় চোখগেলো পাখিটির রঙ ধূসর-বাদামি অর্থাৎ বুক থেকে লেজ পর্যন্ত পালকের বিন্যাস সাদা বাদামির সংমিশ্রণযুক্ত। মাথা ছাই ধূসর রঙের হয়।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৩৮ সেমি., ওজন ১২৫ গ্রাম, ডানা প্রায় ২২ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) এরা নরম দেহের পোকামাকড়, শুঁয়োপোকা খায়। এরা করুণ সুরে গান গায়। স্ত্রী পাখি অন্য পাখির বাসায় ডিম পাড়ে। এদের প্রজননকাল জুন-সেপ্টেম্বর। এর প্রাকৃতিক আবাসস্থল হল নাতিশীতোষ্ণ বন এবং উপক্রান্তীয় বা গ্রীষ্মমন্ডলীয় ম্যানগ্রোভ বন।
