Description : এরা ছোট পাখি। এদের দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ২১-২৪ সেমি। প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক পুরুষের শরীরের ওপরের অংশ ধূসর-বাদামী, নিচের অংশ কমলা, এবং মাথা, গলা এবং উপরের বুক ধূসর। লেজের পালক সাদা। এর পা হলুদ, চোখ লাল এবং ঠোঁট উপরে কালো এবং নীচে হলুদ। প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক স্ত্রী পুরুষের সাথে সাদৃশ্যপূর্ণ হতে পারে। তবে এটি প্রায়শই লাল-বাদামী রঙ এবং গাঢ় দাগ থাকে। কিশোর পাখিগুলো স্ত্রী পাখির মতই কিন্তু রং ফ্যাকাশে। এদের গলায় কালো দাগ থাকে। এটা একটি ছোট পাখি যা বিভিন্ন আবাসস্থলে বাস করে এবং অমেরুদণ্ডী প্রাণীদের খায়। এ পাখি প্রজাতির বাসাগুলিতে ডিম দেয়।
