Description : ইউরেশীয় মোটাহাঁটু/ছোট শিলাবাটান লম্বা পায়ের,হলুদ চোখের বাদামি রঙের বড় জলজপাখি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৪১ সেমি., ডানা ২১সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) এদের দেহের উপরের দিক বালুবাদামি, নিচের দিক হাল্কা বাদামি। এরা পোকামাকড়, ছোট সরীসৃপ ইত্যাদি খায়। এদের প্রজননকাল ফেব্রুয়ারী- অগাস্ট।
