Description : বহুরুপি শিকরে ঈগল মাঝারি আকারের শিকারি পাখি। পাখিটির ডানা প্রশস্ত আর লেজ লম্বা।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৭০ সেমি, ডানা ৪২ সেমি পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) দেহের পালকের রঙের উপর ভিত্তি করে এদের ২ টি রুপ লক্ষ্য করা যায়। সচরাচর যে রূপটি দেখা যায় সেটি হাল্কা পর্যায়ের, এক্ষেত্রে দেহের উপরের দিক বাদামি রঙের এবং বুক, পেটের দিক ডোরা দাগযুক্ত। অপরদিকে গাঢ় (রুপ)পর্যায়ের ক্ষেত্রে দেহের রঙ চকলেট বাদামি থেকে কালো রঙের হয়। এরা মাঝারি আকারের পাখি, কাঠবিড়ালী, খরগোশ ধরে খায়। এদের প্রজননকাল জানুয়ারী থেকে এপ্রিল পর্যন্ত।
