Description : হলদে বক ছোটো হলুদ-বাদামি পাখি।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৩৮সেমি., ডানা ১৩.২ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে)পাখিটির পিঠ ও ডানার পালকগুলো হলুদ-বাদামি।সন্ধ্যা ও অনুজ্জ্বল আলোতে বেশি একটিভ থাকে। এরা মাছ, উভচর, অমেরুদণ্ডী প্রাণী খেয়ে থাকে। সাধারণত নলখাগড়ার প্রজনন করতে দেখা যায়। সেখানে তারা ঝোপের মধ্যে বাসা বাঁধে খাগড়ার মধ্যে বাসা তৈরি করে। সাধারণত, তারা চার থেকে ছয়টি ডিম পাড়ে। তাদের খাগড়ার বিছানার আবাসস্থলে তাদের গোপন আচরণের কারণে চিহ্নিত করা যায়না। তাদের কালো উড়ন্ত পালক এবং তাদের বাকি হলুদ পালকের মধ্যে একটি আকর্ষণীয় বৈপরীত্য দ্বারা তাদের চেনা যায়।
